We reach out to Igazi this Easter Season

The team celebrated Easter by donating much-needed books and delicious Easter parcels to the Igazi Foundation Oncology Ward at the Provincial hospital on Wednesday, the 23^rd March.

“We at Rushmere have been affected by Cancer (in various forms) in some way or another and so it is a cause very close to our hearts. Igazi have done amazing work to ensure that patients requiring haematological care in the Eastern Cape are able to receive the treatment locally. As a Port Elizabeth law firm, we are proud to have Igazi based on home soil.”

Easter is a time of joy, a celebration of life and love. For these patients, it means a little surprise and happiness and excitement whilst facing their incredibly big challenge, the daily fight against Cancer.

“The Igazi Foundation is the only dedicated Haematological Services NGO in the country and we are proud to be associated with Rushmere Noach who at this time of the year has opened their hearts to the patients who cannot be with their families at this time.” Cole Cameron, spokesperson for the Igazi Foundation.

R5 000 to Children’s Charity - Northwood Children’s Hospice

The Hospice held a magnificent Flora Banquet at the Boardwalk Conference Centre in PE on the 26 February with an audience of 455 guests to raise funds to build three patient wings at Northwood Children’s Hospice.
Director Robin Jefferson was invited to attend the gala fundraiser sponsored by Investec Wealth and Investment in aid of the Hospice. All of whom not only raved about the Floral Creations and Designer Mohair Collection, showcased on the catwalk, but also opened their hearts and pockets to raise a substantial amount for the Northwood Children’s Hospice. Rushmere Noach Inc. pledged an amount of R5000.00 towards this very worthy beneficiary.
Northwood Children’s Hospice is situated in the heart of Port Elizabeth, in Mount Croix. They offer very sick children of our community a warm place of respite and palliative care. They also provide the children’s families with much needed emotional support.
